Ha’åni L. San Nicolas
Ha’åni is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Indigenous Politics and an advanced graduate certificate in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa. For her, famalao’an and reproductive rights is a critical component of CHamoru decolonization and the advancement of women, trans, queer, and non-binary individuals in Guåhan. As a scholar, teacher, and poet, reproductive justice is an important part of her work as she studies Oceania feminisms, Indigenous and bodily sovereignty, and resurgence.
