OUR MISSION
Famalao’an Rights is a Reproductive Justice initiative focused on addressing the need for accessible reproductive health care on Guam.
OUR VISION
We want to ensure every person in Guam, regardless of their religious beliefs, can access affordable and timely reproductive healthcare options while having those decisions honored and supported by our island community.
OUR COMMITMENT
Our commitment as a grassroots educational campaign is to use community outreach mechanisms to garner support for legislation, programs, and institutions that protect the rights of bodily autonomy and all forms of reproductive healthcare. We believe that everyone on Guam, regardless of sex or gender identity, should have the right to choose. We will collaborate and partner with other local initiatives that provide access to reproductive healthcare.
OUR GOALS
1. Establish a fund in perpetuity that will support individuals/organizations similarly committed to advancing access to reproductive healthcare.
2. Create and sustain public forums to have constructive, science and fact-based discussions on the various components of reproductive healthcare.
3. Establish partnerships and collaborations with other reproductive rights campaigns and organizations to build momentum in our movement and to fundraise.
4. Establish a health center/clinic that delivers critical reproductive health care and information, such as birth control, contraception, abortion services, STD testing and treatment, patient education, and more.
